Terrance Cottrell, Jr., 8 Years

Terrance Cottrell, Jr. was 8 years old and had autism. Terrance was from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He died from suffocation on August 22, 2003, at a service at the Faith Temple Church of Apostolic Faith in Milwaukee. The church had been holding an exorcism to cast out demons from the boy.  His mother is Patricia Cooper and his father is Terrance Cottrell, Sr.

Brian Kent

Brian Kent, 25 Years

Brian Kent had autism and died on October 30, 2002, at the age of 25. He passed away at the Kiley Developmental Center in Waukegan, Illinois. It was determined that Brian Kent died from peritiontis caused by blunt force trauma to the abdomen. It is a mystery as to how his injuries were sustained in the state run institution that was caring for him. In 2010, the State of Illinois passed "Brian's Law" named in honor of Brian Kent. "Brian's Law" requires a team of independent experts to review deaths of individuals receiving state services. Brian's parents are Jim and Linda Kent.

Giles Shirley (1963-1998)

Giles Shirley was 35 years old and had autism. Giles was from Amersham, Buckinghamshire in the United Kingdom. Giles Shirley passed away in October of 1998 when he had an epileptic seizure in the middle of the night. Giles Shirley's parents are Dereck and Dame Stephanie Shirley (Steve Shirley).
