Christopher Paul Dixon was 13 years old and had autism. He was born on July 31, 2004. Christopher Dixon wandered away from his home in Syracuse, Indiana (near Elkhart, Indiana) on September 22, 2017, and drowned in Lake Wawasee.

In many ways, Christopher's autism allowed him to touch the lives of his parents, grandparents, caregivers and friends in unexpected and surprising fashions: he would reach up and take his mother or father's hand while walking for no obvious reason; he would sit and share special moments with his younger cousin, Michael, and ride with him on a special tricycle his grandparents obtained; he would swing so high that he became horizontal to the ground while laughing out loud (Read more at Christopher Dixon's Obituary on Legacy .com)

Zachary Christian Urda

Zachary Christian Urda (1998-2017)

Zachary Christian Urda was 19 years old and had autism. He was born on August 24, 1998, and passed away at his home in White Crossings, Pennsylvania on September 11, 2017. He was a student at what is now Merakey Education and Autism Centers (formerly known as NHS School for Autism when he was a student) and he worked at Frank's Place in Simpson, Pennsylvania. His parents are Timothy E. and Debra A. Rosencrans Urda.

Tribute to Zachary Christian Urda:

Zach was an autistic child. He wore this disability as a badge of honor. Zach took great pride in helping others like him, especialy his younger brother, Nico and his little sister, Shay.
